Black Lable Pinotage 2015 This wine is characterised by notes of liquorice, cherry and black fruit, with a touch of exotic spice and a pronounced savouriness to the finish. A big, structured wine with velvety tannins that fills your whole mouth. On the aftertaste different flavours open up and keep guessing on what will follow. Better with red meat or spicy Asian style dishes. Fermentation took place in open concrete fermenters. Cap was punched manually every 2 hours and was the juice drawn off the skins after 3.5 days. Ageing/Maturation: Matured for 25 months in 100% new 225L French nevers barrels, primarily Vicard Matured for 15 months in 225 litre French Nevers 25% 2nd fill.
