A community initiative grows our special crop of chillies that is infused into a 100% natural, canola (rapeseed) oil, making a product that is both premium quality and highly versatile. It’s the ideal condiment that appeals to all foodies and their favourite dishes.

Banhoek is a place in South Africa that is located at the end of the world. The company is not that far from Stellenbosch after all. Here the chilli oil is made by hand and from local ingredients. To achieve an even extraction of flavor, after infusing the chilli, the rosy rapeseed oil is drained, cooled, and passed through a 16-stage filter to ensure crystal clear chilli oil and bring out the bold flavors of sun-ripened Bird's Eye chillies.
