Saartjie Grenache Noir 2022

A Beautiful vibrant red hue. This Grenache Noir boasts with intense fruity notes on the nose. With strawberries, black cherries and raspberry flavours dominating the palate. And hints of spice at the back of the palate. Well balanced with accessible supple tannins. Enjoy now or within a few years.

As little intervention as possible. After maceration of the grapes, it was left to cold soak for up to 48 hours, whereafter one punch down a day was done to ensure minimum colour extraction and maximum natural primary grape flavours. No commercially produced yeast was added and no added enzymes or any other products. After fermentation the wine and the grapes were left to marry for a further month before the wines were taken out and put into older French barrels for maturation.
